To help you subtract two numbers, find the nearest ten from the denominator and subtract the denominator from it.

For example, if we have to subtract 33 - 14, the denominator is 14, the nearest ten from above is 20. Then we can write 33 as the sum of 20 + 13.

We have to subtract 14 from number 20 to get number 6.

At the end we just add 6 + 13 and get the result of the difference 33 - 14 as the sum 6 + 13, which is 19.
